Architect on a detour - design show

The design show ‘Architect on a detour’ exhibited and sold objects by makers with roots in architecture. Curator An Michiels selected international studios Yellow Nose Studio (Berlin), Léa & Nicolas (Quebec) and Tom Van Malderen (Valletta), but also Belgium-based talent Anne-Sophie Moors, Karolien Grosemans, Jord Lindelauf and Studio Schik.

The one-day event celebrated carefully crafted everyday objects for the home that are not only to be admired, but above all to be used. In dialogue with the show, Elke from Maffood offered delicious plant-based bites that illustrate her love for design and food.

'Architect on a detour' took place at the studio of PSLab in Antwerp. The lighting specialists brought out the best out of the objects with a unique lighting scenography.
